LG Energy Solution has signed an estimated 1.8 trillion won worth of energy storage devices with a private equity fund manager specializing in renewable energy in the United States.
LG Ensol announced on the 14th that it signed a 7.5GWh (gigawatt-hour) energy storage device supply contract with Excelsio Energy Capital in the United States.
7.5GWh is electricity that can be used by more than 750,000 households for a day on a four-person basis and will be produced in North America and sold from 2026.
The product supplied through this contract is LG Ensol's high-capacity lithium iron phosphate-based container product "JF2 AC LINK," known to be more energy-dense than ordinary lithium iron phosphate batteries.
