Tesla Recalls 700,000 Units in U.S.No tire pressure warning lamp.

Tesla has launched a recall of 700,000 vehicles in the U.S., including the Model 3, Model Y, and Cybertruck.

The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on the 20th local time that it was conducting a Tesla recall for a software update due to the tire pressure monitoring system warning lights not appearing.

The vehicles covered by the recall are Model 3 from 2017 to 2025 and Model Y from 2020 to 2025 and Cybertruck from 2024, a total of 694,304.

The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration pointed out that air pressure warning lights do not turn on while driving, which increases the risk of a collision because drivers are unaware that the tire pressure is low.

Tesla said it was offering free software updates early last month, after finding the same flaw in product suitability tests and launching its own investigation that identified problems with the software it distributed at certain times.

As of the 13th, it received 76 consumer guarantee claims related to air pressure warnings, but no crashes, injuries or deaths related to defects were reported.

Tesla recalled about 1.85 million vehicles in July due to the problem of opening the hood of the car, and Cybertruck has made seven recalls this year alone, including this case.
