Employees of advertising agencies who recruited part-time jobs to attend the opening ceremony of the election office were fined.
The Busan District Court sentenced the CEO of an advertising agency in his 30s to a fine of 5 million won and employee B to 3 million won, respectively, on charges of violating the Public Official Election Act.
In March, they were charged with recruiting 39 people by posting a part-time job posting on a second-hand trading platform for 20,000 won per day on a second-hand trading platform after being asked by a close aide of a candidate for the National Assembly in Buk-gu, Busan, as if many people came to the office opening ceremony.
