A fire at Gangmun Beach in Gangneung...tourist access control

At around 2:20 p.m. today, a fire broke out in a convenience store building on Gangmun Beach in Gangneung, Gangwon-do.

Immediately after the fire broke out, all people around were evacuated, and no casualties were reported, but due to the heavy smoke, fire authorities are controlling access to tourists and extinguishing them.

Police and fire authorities plan to investigate the exact extent of the damage and the cause of the fire as soon as the fire is extinguished.
