Trump "Once in the U.S. Tariffs alone without Income Tax"
U.S. President-elect Donald Trump said, "In the 1890s, the U.S. was abundant with tariffs alone without income tax," hinting at a strong tariff policy despite concerns over inflation.

Trump made the remarks at a conservative group event in Phoenix, Arizona, reminding him that then-U.S. President McKinley created enormous wealth by imposing an average of 50% tariffs on imports.

At the same time, he reaffirmed on his first day in office that he would end all of Biden's regulations on energy production and his policy to mandate electric vehicles, and cancel the ban on natural gas exports.

"Wasn't it good to have $1.84 per gallon of gasoline, or $0.49 per liter?" he said, signaling that he would resume drilling for oil and gas in the United States in the future and significantly lower energy prices in the future.

"The increased incidence of autism and childhood cancer is a strange thing, and together we'll see what went wrong," Trump said, explaining why Robert Kennedy Jr. was named health director, which has been controversial over vaccine conspiracy theories.
