Foreign Ministers' Currency Between Korea and Japan... Emphasis on "Stable System of Acting President"

Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yeol had a phone call with Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya and emphasized that our government is running state affairs stably under the acting president system.

Minister Cho explained this today (23rd) in a foreign ministerial call between Korea and Japan, and said that the diplomatic stance, including the development of Korea-Japan relations, will be maintained without wavering.

In addition, he stressed that there is nothing to worry about about the normal economic activities of foreign companies and said to continue economic cooperation between Korea and Japan.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two ministers decided to steadily prepare for a meaningful year for bilateral relations as next year, which marks the 60th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Korea and Japan, is just a week away.
