The Joint Chiefs of Staff says some of the trends have been detected in North Korea sending additional troops and equipment for Russia and supporting self-destructive drones unveiled last month.

The Joint Chiefs of Staff said today that North Korea is providing 240-mm multiple rocket launchers and 170-mm self-propelled artillery to Russia, and that there is a possibility of launching a medium-range ballistic missile-grade hypersonic missile soon.

He then evaluated that North Korea has a strong intention to modernize conventional power by using war specials to consume old power and gain combat experience of new power.

It added that the North Korean military has recently mobilized thousands of troops to install barbed wire fences at the top of the barrier around the Military Demarcation Line (MDL) for about 40 kilometers, and captured installing electrical barbed wire fences in some sections.

In addition, noise broadcasting has been going on for more than 10 hours a day in more than 40 front-line areas since July 20, and it is predicted that North Korea will continue to target gray areas such as balloons, noise broadcasting, and GPS disturbance next year in accordance with the hostile relations between the two countries.
