Yonsei University's essay examiner's lawsuit... "The sentencing date is late."

Yonsei University's natural essay test taker, who filed a lawsuit to invalidate the test due to the unfairness of the essay test, filed a complaint with the Seoul Western District Court on the 20th.

The test takers explained that they decided that it was not effective to proceed with the lawsuit as the sentencing date was set to January 9 next year, after the deadline for regular application.

In October, a controversy over fairness arose when the questionnaire was distributed an hour earlier due to a supervisor's mistake at a test site during Yonsei University's natural essay test, leading to a court battle.

As criticism continued that the damage to test takers increased due to the lack of quick follow-up, Yonsei University decided on the 27th of last month to conduct the second test of the controversial natural essay test and select successful candidates in both the first and second tests.
