Former DAPA Commissioner Wang Jeong-hong is arrested and charged for 'suspicious bidding irregularities.'

Wang has been accused of receiving 170 million won from certain defense-related companies until recently.

It is also suspected of making a profit worth 76 million won by buying shares of unlisted corporations owned by the company at a low price under another person's name.

The prosecution believes that former Commissioner Wang received money and valuables in exchange for arranging the Defense Acquisition Program Administration during the bidding process.
