The prosecution, which is investigating the emergency martial law incident, sent some of the data related to President Yoon Suk Yeol to the high-ranking government official's criminal investigation office in accordance with the decision to transfer.

The special investigation headquarters of the prosecution's emergency martial law sent basic data, including a complaint, to the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit in connection with the civil war case between President Yoon and former Minister Lee Sang-min.

However, it was found that the statements and investigation records of key officials, such as former Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun and military officials, were not handed over.

The Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit says it needs all the relevant data for the investigation, but the prosecution confronts that the investigation into those involved is continuing and that the records cannot be handed over.

Accordingly, for the time being, the prosecution and the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit are expected to continue their war of nerves over the scope of cooperation, including sending major investigation records.

Earlier on the 18th, the prosecution decided to transfer the case of President Yoon and former Minister Lee to the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit after consultation with the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit.
