Local media cameras showed the U.S. Air Force aerobatic corps continuing its training during the Christmas holiday.

Las Vegas Fox5 released the video, saying it got a rare opportunity to film a Thunderbirds squadron at Nellis Air Force Base.

The video showed a high-level maneuvering drill with diamond formations flying at 800 kilometers per hour.

The Thunderbirds squadron said it was refining its technology ahead of the air show season, which will begin in February next year, and that it was continuing to fine-tune through ongoing iterative training.

The Thunderbirds, a special flight team of the U.S. Air Force, perform aerial acrobatics around the world for 250 days a year.
