Jeju's "Gogang Love Donation" exceeded 3 billion won for the first time...Doubles from last year

For the first time ever, donations to love hometowns in Jeju Island exceeded 3 billion won this year.

As of yesterday (26th), the fundraising amount was 3,091 billion won and the number of fundraising cases was 28,973.

It has more than doubled from 1.513 billion won raised during the same period last year.

Jeju Island analyzes that the expansion of the "Desired Jeju Pass" benefit provided to donors of more than 100,000 won has been effective.

The 'Desperate Jeju Pass' has expanded its benefits from last year with free admission to 33 public tourist destinations, separate reservations for tours to Hallasan, and discounts on 26 private tourist destinations.The

Hometown Love Donation System allows individuals to donate up to 5 million won per year to a local government other than their address, and depending on the amount, they can receive tax credits and gifts in return.
