The U.S. White House says North Korean troops sent to Russia are believed to have carried out a large-scale attack in Kursk last week, causing more than a thousand casualties.
John Kirby, the White House National Security Council's communications adviser, said in an online briefing that the North Korean military is now carrying out large-scale attacks on Ukrainian forces in Kursk.
Kirby said North Korea's humanitarian tactics are not very effective and that they are causing enormous casualties to the North Korean military.
Russian and North Korean military leaders are treating troops as consumables and ordering hopeless attacks, explaining that more than a thousand people are believed to have been killed or injured in certain battles last week alone.
Kirby said the North Korean military, in particular, appears to be very brainwashed, adding that they are receiving reports of self-determination instead of surrendering for fear of retaliation for their families remaining in the North.
