Exclusive Lee Soon-jae attends KBS Acting Awards...First public appearance since the suspension of activities

Actor Lee Soon-jae (90), who is on a break, delivers a welcome update through the KBS Acting Awards.

According to broadcasters, Lee Soon-jae attended the 2024 KBS Acting Awards ceremony, which was recorded on the 30th.

Lee Soon-jae was nominated for the grand prize through 'Dogsori'. Ji Hyun-woo and Lim Soo-hyang of "Beauty and Pure Man," Kim Jung-hyun and Park Ji-young of "The Iron Family," and Kim Ha-neul were also nominated.

In October, Lee Soon-jae was told by his doctor that he needed a three-month break and is concentrating on recovering his health. His first public appearance since the suspension of his activities is drawing attention.

In particular, "Dogsori," in which he starred, recorded the highest viewership (4.6 percent, Nielsen Korea nationwide) among KBS 2TV's Wednesday-Thursday dramas aired last year. Lee Soon-jae emerged as a strong candidate for the grand prize as he showed off his old age.

Along with Lee Soon-jae's recent status, the KBS Acting Awards, which is drawing attention on whether he will win the grand prize, will air at 9:20 p.m. on the 11th.
