Hawaii New Year's Firecracker Video Revealed...Three dead, 20 injured.

Ahead of the New Year, drone footage of the situation at the time was released in connection with a firecracker accident in which three people were killed in a residential area in Hawaii.

According to the Associated Press, a series of major explosions occurred in a residential area in northwest Honolulu, Hawaii, ahead of midnight on January 1, 2025.

were killed and more than 20 seriously injured in the accident, Honolulu city authorities say.

Local police believe that a bundle of firecrackers parked on the ground collapsed and other boxes of firecrackers exploded one after another.

Hawaii authorities seized more than 100,000 kilograms of firecrackers last year to prevent illegal fireworks, but local media pointed out that it did not have much effect.

The Honolulu Fire Department reported 30 fires related to fireworks at the end of the year, up 30% from last year's New Year celebrations.
