Cheonggye Tool Market in Seoul is under fire control...About 60 people evacuated.

A fire broke out at Cheonggye Tool Market in Jangsa-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul at around 3:10 a.m. today (5th).

More than 60 people, including guests from a hotel right next to the shopping mall, evacuated themselves in the fire, but no one was injured.

The fire authorities issued the first stage of response in about two hours, mobilizing both the personnel and equipment of the competent fire department, and caught a big fire in three and a half hours.

Fire authorities plan to investigate the exact cause of the fire as soon as the residual fire is cleared.
