A fire broke out at the poultry farm in Duchon-myeon, Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon-do at around 9:30 last night (6th).
The fire caused 250 million won worth of property damage, including the burning of two poultry farms and the death of 3,700 chickens.
In addition, an official in his 20s was treated for a leg injury while evacuating.
Fire authorities believe the fire was caused by electrical factors and are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
