'Winter Food Poisoning' Norovirus Infection Increases 3.6x in 4 Weeks
The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently said that the number of patients with norovirus infection is increasing, and asked them to follow food poisoning prevention rules well.

The number of norovirus-infected patients increased every week from 80 in the last week of November last year to 291 last week, up 3.6 times in four weeks.

In particular, nearly 60% of infants and toddlers aged 0 to 6, the age of going to daycare centers and kindergartens, accounted for.

Norovirus, which is highly infectious, is transmitted through direct contact with patients or secretions, and vomiting, diarrhea, and fever occur within two days.

There are many infections of infants and toddlers who live in groups from winter to early spring, so special attention is needed to manage personal hygiene in daycare centers and kindergartens.
