The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art will hold a permanent exhibition of its collections in Seoul and Gwacheon.

The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art is launching a permanent exhibition this year that introduces major collections at the Seoul Museum and Gwacheon Museum.

In May this year, the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art will open a permanent museum in Gwacheon and Seoul where major works are carefully selected and permanently exhibited.

Gwacheon Hall introduces 280 pieces from 1900 to 1980 in total floor space on the second and third floors, and Seoul Hall introduces about 80 pieces from the 1960s to the present, using a total of 470 pyeong of space in the first and second exhibition rooms.

Lee Jung-seop's White Cow (1950s), as well as Lee Kun-hee's Collection, which has completed a regional tour over the past two years, will be displayed in the permanent hall.

This year's main exhibition will be held at Deoksugung Palace in August, which will mark the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation from Japan's colonial rule, the "Nostalgia, Drawing a Hometown," a collection of nostalgia-themed works.The 'Surrealism and Korean Modern Art' exhibition will be held at Deoksugung Palace as a series of

Rediscovering Korean Modern Art', and a retrospective exhibition marking the 20th anniversary of Lee Dae-won's death and the first exhibition of the 'water drop painter' Kim Chang-yeol's death will also begin.
