The National Assembly will hold a plenary session tomorrow afternoon (8th) to re-vote eight bills, including the so-called Bilateral Special Prosecutors Act, in which Acting President Choi Sang-mok exercised his right to request reconsideration.
The National Assembly Act and the National Assembly Testimony Appraisal Act will be revised, including the Special Prosecutor for Insurrection and the Special Prosecutor for First Lady Kim Gun-hee Act, as well as the Grain Management Act and the Agricultural Products Price Stabilization Act.
In order to pass the re-vote, a majority of the registered members and two-thirds approval of the members present are needed, and the bill will be finally scrapped if the ruling party does not have at least eight votes out of the total 300 seats.
