Rai wrote on his old Twitter X (X) that he expressed his sincere condolences and deepest condolences to the victims and families of Tibet affected by the earthquake.
He added that Taiwan's mind is with those affected by the earthquake, saying he hopes that rescue and relief measures will be taken as soon as possible to quickly restore the disaster area.
The Continental Committee, Taiwan's organization in charge of mainland China, also expressed its consolation and condolences over the earthquake and asked the Taiwan Strait Exchange Fund to determine whether local Taiwanese were affected.
