Amid rising tensions ahead of the execution of the second arrest warrant, rallies for and against impeachment continue around the presidential residence despite the severe cold.

I'm connecting with the on-site reporter, reporter Lim Ye-jin!

It's quite cold today, are there many people?

[Reporter]
About 200 meters away from the driveway of the presidential residence here, supporters of President Yoon continue to rally against impeachment.

The number of people seems to have decreased slightly as the temperature drops below minus 10 degrees Celsius,
Participants
are wearing thick coats and silver blankets, eating warm tea and food, and enduring the cold.

Nearby, a pro-impeachment group, which has been on an indefinite overnight sit-in since yesterday, is calling for the arrest of President Yoon.

Neither side is crowded now, but a full-fledged rally is scheduled in the afternoon, so people are expected to gather.

For days, participants from both sides have been scuffling, swearing at each other, and tension is flowing in front of the official residence.

How is the security situation in front of the official residence?

[Reporter]
Although police shields are installed everywhere, the access around the entrance to the official residence was completely controlled at the time of the first warrant execution, and now citizens are more free to pass.

However, the security posture of the official residence remains tight.

Behind the iron gate installed in the entrance to the official residence, several large buses form a barrier, blocking the view.

The iron doors are also tightly closed except when vehicles enter and exit.

The security service is preparing for the execution of a second arrest warrant by putting circular barbed wire around the precinct, and some doors are even chained.

It is difficult to check the situation of the second and third cordon inside here, but
As the possibility of mobilizing police criminal squads or special tow trucks is also mentioned in the re-execution of the
warrant, the security service is expected to be more vigilant than before.
