Constitutional Court "Doesn't issue on-site attendance rights to Presidential Impeachment"

2025.01.10 AM 10:25
The Constitutional Court has decided not to distribute the right to attend the impeachment case of President Yoon Suk Yeol on the spot for civil safety reasons.

The Constitutional Court issued a press release today (10th) and announced that it will suspend the audience rights distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at the site on the day of the Constitutional Court's sentence and pleading date only in the case of President Yoon.

The Constitutional Court explained that the decision was made for the safety of citizens, saying that extreme congestion occurred around the main gate of the building due to rallies against and against President Yoon's impeachment.

The Constitutional Court said that instead of distributing first-come, first-served admission tickets at the main gate, the remaining seats will be distributed through online attendance applications. If you want to attend the impeachment case of President

Yoon, you can apply on the website of the Constitutional Court, and you can receive the results via text message at 5 p.m. the day before the pleading.

Audience rights to the sentencing and pleading of constitutional court cases other than the presidential impeachment case will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at the main gate one hour before the revision on the same day.
