Acting President Choi meets with Ambassador for International Investment and Financial Cooperation...economic and diplomatic discussions

Acting President Choi Sang-mok met with Choi Joong-kyung, Ambassador for International Investment Cooperation, and Choi Jong-gu, Ambassador for International Financial Cooperation, to discuss economic and diplomatic activities.

The ambassador for international investment cooperation and the ambassador for international financial cooperation are foreign ambassadors appointed to expand foreign investment and enhance foreign confidence in the Korean economy, and serve a one-year term.

Acting President Choi asked Choi Joong-kyung, the ambassador for international investment cooperation, to play a bridge role so that foreign investors' recommendations can be reflected in the policy to maintain and expand foreign investment, which recorded the highest performance ever last year.

Choi Jong-gu, the ambassador for international financial cooperation, asked the international community to actively explain the solid basic physical strength of the Korean economy and the government's ability to respond through interviews with key figures of the new U.S. government and briefing sessions on the Korean economy.
