Buan Duck Farm Bird Influenza Detected...Checking for high pathogenicity.

Avian influenza antigens were detected at a meat duck farm in Julfo-myeon, Buan-gun, Jeollabuk-do.

Currently, the Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Quarantine Headquarters is checking whether it is highly pathogenic, and if it is confirmed to be highly pathogenic, it will be the 22nd positive case in the country.

Jeollabuk-do Province sent an initial response team to the farm to conduct access control and epidemiological investigations, and ordered all duck farms in Jeollabuk-do to temporarily suspend movement.

In addition, duck farmers across the country, which belong to the same affiliates as farms where avian influenza occurred, have asked to temporarily stop the movement of livestock vehicles.

Jeonbuk Self-Governing Province asked for thorough compliance with quarantine rules to prevent the spread.
