While the Los Angeles (LA) wildfire has been continuing for three days, former major leaguer Park Chan-ho's home has also been burned down.

According to a media outlet today (10th), all of the houses in Beverly Hills in the western U.S., where Park Chan-ho lived, are burned down. It has been confirmed that he is currently staying at a nearby hotel.

Park Chan-ho purchased the two-story mansion in Los Angeles in 1999. In 2005, he married Lee Kang-hye, a Japanese culinary researcher, and had three daughters, and he also released part of his house through broadcasting.

In addition to Park Chan-ho, several Hollywood stars, including Paris Hilton, Ben Affleck and Myles Teller, have lost their homes in the wildfires.

In particular, Paris Hilton said, "Sitting with your family watching the news and seeing your house in Malibu burn down live is something no one should experience," adding, "It's heartbreaking beyond words." This house is a place where we have made a lot of precious memories," he said, expressing his upset.

Earlier on the 7th (local time), a large forest fire broke out in Los Angeles, southern California. Local gusts 'Santa Ana' are spreading out of control.

At least five people were killed and a number of injuries were reported. Economic losses from the forest fires are estimated to amount to $50 billion (about 73 trillion won).
