LA's massive wildfire damage is estimated to be close to 73 trillion won, making it the most destructive natural disaster in U.S. wildfire history.

So far, 10 people have been killed and 180,000 have been ordered to evacuate, and some areas have lost electricity and gas supplies.

Wildfires in Los Angeles are still spreading through the dry and powerful winds of Santa Ana.

Evacuation orders across L.A. County also continue to expand.

The largest wildfires, particularly in Pacific Palisades, a rich town on the West Coast, are still struggling to extinguish and respond.

[Kristen Crowley / LA Fire Chief: The Palisades are one of the most devastating natural disasters in Los Angeles history]

The affected area was devastated to the point where the LA County Sheriff's Department described it as "like a bomb had fallen."

More than 210,000 households, or 5.6% of all households in L.A. County, have been cut off from electricity, and gas has been cut off in some areas.

[Lindsey Horvath / LA County Supervisor: The gas disruption is currently affecting more than 15,000 people in the Malibu region]

According to the Consulate General of LA, there have been no casualties of Koreans in the fire.

JPMorgan Chase, the largest U.S. financial company, estimates that the economic damage from the L.A. wildfires will be close to 73 trillion won.

To make matters worse, insurance companies have been effectively withdrawing from wildfires in the West in recent years, raising concerns that damage recovery will not be easy.

The U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration diagnosed that as climate change intensified due to global warming, the frequency of large-scale disasters such as wildfires increased, and the intensity was much greater than in the past.
