YTN, a leading 24-hour news channel in South Korea, has been named as the country's most fair media outlet.
YTN was awarded the honor on Tuesday among 15 media outlets involving 10 broadcasting systems and five general dailies at the 2015 Media Awards in Seoul organized by a prestigious local media research institute.
The news channel has won the same award for the ninth consecutive year, which was based on the media lab's survey of some 500 media scholars.
Meanwhile, JTBC, a TV channel of comprehensive programming, was named as the country's most reliable and useful media outlet at the 2015 Media Awards.
