A South Korean tourist has been killed, with some 20 others injured, in a bus accident in Laos.
The accident is said to have taken place on Sunday when a sleeper bus, heading to Vientiane, crashed into a median strip in Paksan, about 150 kilometers south of the Laos capital.
A 30-year-old South Korean woman, surnamed Kim, and a French citizen were killed in the accident, with some 20 others aboard the bus, including Kim's friends, injured, according to the South Korean Embassy in Laos.
The embassy is trying to determine the cause of the accident.
