Hyundai 'N' sub-models finish Germany's 'Nürburgring Race'

All three of Hyundai Motor Co.'s "N" sub-brand models have successfully finished the Nürburgring 24-Hour race in Germany.

Hyundai said finishing the race is a big accomplishment.

The top South Korean automaker also said it has been developing a new 2.0 turbo engine for its "N" models and that its current i30 model, equipped with the new engine, competed in the SP3T class on one of the most demanding tracks in the world.

Known as "Green Hell" because of its steep inclines and tricky corners, only 50 to 60 percent of the contending cars finish the German race.
