Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin exchanged congratulations on the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries (October 2) and declared "expand cooperation."

According to China's state-run Xinhua News Agency on the 2nd, President Xi said at the ceremony that he is willing to continue to expand all-round working-level cooperation in cooperation with President Putin on the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations.

He also emphasized, "We want to make a new contribution to protecting world peace and stability and promoting the construction of a community of human destiny by jointly promoting high-quality development and modernization of both countries."

"At the moment, relations between Russia and China have reached the highest level in history," Putin also said in a congratulatory message to Xi.

"The two countries actively cooperated in politics, economy, trade, science and technology as well as in other fields, cooperated efficiently in international and regional affairs, and worked together to build a just multipolar world order," he said.

Xi and President Putin will meet again in three months following the BRICS summit of emerging economies to be held in Kazan, Russia from the 22nd to the 24th.
