Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, pointed out that the most important value of politics is compromise, but it is not going well, saying that politics is missing and only war is left.
Lee met with Kim Jong-saeng, general secretary of the Korea Christian Church Council, at the Korea Christian Center in Jongno-gu, Seoul, and said, "The essence of war is to annihilate the other person, and politics is to recognize the other person."
Earlier, during a visit to Jang Jong-hyun, chairman of the Korean Federation of Churches, Lee mentioned the medical crisis and asked for the role of the religious community, saying that next year's medical school quota can be a topic of conversation.
