A worker in his 50s died in a buried accident at the Gwacheon officetel construction site.

At around 4:10 p.m. yesterday (3rd), a daily worker in his 50s died in a pile of dirt at an officetel construction site in Munwon-dong, Gwacheon-si, Gyeonggi-do.

At the time of the accident, Mr. A was installing an excellent tube in a puddle with two other workers at a depth of 2 to 3 meters.

Police are investigating construction site officials for compliance with safety rules, such as whether there was a simple dirt barrier to prevent a buried accident and whether they were working while maintaining a safety angle.
