Director Chung Dong-yoon, who directed the Netflix "Kyungsung Creature" series, said he would like to work with actors Park Seo-joon and Han So-hee again in the future. He also praised his easy-going and professional appearance on the spot.

Director Chung Dong-yoon met with reporters at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the 30th of last month to commemorate the release of the Netflix series "Gyeongseong Creature 2." Gyeongseong Creature 2, which was released on the 27th of last month, was going viral, ranking third in the global TV show category two days after its release.

In particular, even though the story was expanded in Season 1, set in Gyeongseong in 1945, it settled in the top 10 in Japan. Director Chung said, "I think the actor's power is great. Park Seo-joon's Japanese fandom due to 'Itaewon Class' was huge. I think a lot of people watched it because my favorite actor came out," he analyzed.

'Gyeongseong Creature 2' tells the story of Ho-ho (Park Seo-joon), who resembles Seoul and Taesang in 2024, and Chae-ok (Han So-hee), who survived the spring of Gyeongseong, to find out the unfinished relationship, fate, and bad relationship of Gyeongseong. Park Seo-joon and Han So-hee, who appeared in season 1, also appeared in season 2 to complete the melodrama narrative that continues 79 years later.

Coach Chung said, "The melodrama between the two, which was not resolved in season 1, continues after 79 years, and I think it has allowed viewers to support them emotionally. I thought the reunion of the two who lived in that era and suffered was another symbolic figure that the drama is trying to show," he said.

The romance between the two actors was good. Head coach Chung said, "The two became much closer in 2 than in 1. I think it seemed a little more desperate because there was no sense of distance. I thought the eyes of the person with the memories would be different, and in fact, when So-hee and Seo-joon ran to each other, they gave a lot of emotion and feeling that they were trying to run," he said.

He also talked about the on-set attitude. Director Chung is professional about the two actors. They don't seem to be completely different people, either in private or in vacancies. He said, "I'm working hard on easy-going and very old-fashioned concerns," adding, "It's hard for me to treat top stars, but I've made them comfortable."

When asked if they would like to work together in the future, he said, "I don't think we can meet right away," but added, "There are things I want to do, so it would be good if we each work harder on what we want and meet in a few years. I want to talk about aliens. I want to talk about focusing a little more on the inside of people," he said.

Finally, he said, "I sincerely thank the actors and staff for their hard work until season 2. Honestly, I was personally down in season one. It was my first time to do a big work and I felt that I did not do as well as I expected, but season 2 has a good world ranking. Thank you for being with us until the end," he said.
