The Bucheon Fire Accident Investigation Headquarters of the Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency will hold a briefing on the results of the investigation at 2 p.m. today at Wonmi Police Station in Bucheon.
Police are expected to explain the exact cause of the fire and the background of the damage, along with the results of the investigation into safety officers, including hotel owners.
Earlier on August 22, a fire broke out on the eighth floor of a nine-story hotel in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, killing seven people and injuring 12.
