Chungcheongnam-do has signed a win-win cooperation agreement with Samsung Display to expand renewable energy using idle land in public institutions.
The province will provide 5,500 square meters of public land, including the provincial government's south gate and the Korea Institute of Health and Environment parking lot, to power generation companies for a fee to install solar power generation facilities with a capacity of 1,200 kW, and Samsung Display will purchase all the electricity produced.
Starting with this agreement, Chungcheongnam-do Governor Kim Tae-heum said Chungcheongnam-do will become a strong partner for 100% renewable energy conversion.
