OPEC, the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, predicts that global demand for crude oil will increase by 1.58% next year from this year.
According to OPEC's monthly crude oil market report released on the 14th local time, global demand for crude oil is expected to rise to 105.78 million barrels per day next year, up 1.64 million barrels from this year.
China, the largest consumer of crude oil, is expected to demand 17.36 million barrels per day next year, up 410,000 barrels from this year, the report predicts.
Compared to the same report last month, global demand for crude oil fell by 210,000 barrels next year, and this year's demand for crude oil also fell by 110,000 barrels per day.
