Yes, the National Statistical Office has released its September employment trend.

The total number of employed people last month was 28.842 million, up 144,000 from a year ago.

The number of employed people continued to grow by double digits for the third month, including 172,000 in July and 123,000 in August.

Compared to the trend at the beginning of the year, which exceeded 300,000 people, job creation has slowed significantly.

By industry, the construction industry decreased by 100,000 and the manufacturing industry by 49,000.

The construction industry has seen a decrease in the number of employed people for five consecutive months, with the 100,000 drop being the largest ever since the reorganization of the classification by industry in 2013.It seems that the impact of the decrease in construction orders due to

high interest rates continued.

Manufacturing continued to decline for three months.

It increased in groceries and automobiles, but decreased in clothing and electronic components.

The wholesale and retail business also saw the number of employed people fall by 104,000, the largest decline since November 2021.

On the other hand, the information and communication industry and the professional science and technology service industry increased by 105,000 and 83,000, respectively.

By age group, the number of people aged 60 or older increased by 272,000, continuing the trend of the elderly leading the increase in the number of employed.

On the other hand, the number of young people aged 15 to 29 decreased by 168,000 and 62,000 in their 40s, respectively.

These age groups are undergoing population decline.

The employment rate for those aged 15 and over rose 0.1 percentage point to 63.3%, the highest ever as of September.

The economically inactive population decreased by 122,000, but the number of people who rested increased by 231,000.

The number of young people "rested" increased by 63,000, the largest increase in 44 months.

So far, the National Statistical Office has delivered it.
