The drama "I Believe in You," in which a member of the popular boy group NCT and actor Jae-hyun were selected as the main character, has been suspended from production.

As a result of YTN coverage today (15th), filming was suspended in June due to investment issues in the new drama "I Believe in You," produced by Mace Entertainment, a production company. It's been three months since I cranked in last April after completing the pre-production phase.

The drama is a black comedy about the growth of the weak against the strong, and Jae-hyun was expected to make his drama debut as the male protagonist. Along with Jaehyun, a number of actors were cast, including Lee Chae-min, Kim Sun-young, and Park Sung-woong.

It has been confirmed that investment problems have been hampered. The company decided to proceed with the filming first and finalize the contract with the investment company, but the company that promised to invest changed its position and failed to cover the filming cost, leading to the suspension of the ongoing filming.

The production company made efforts to attract investment companies to resume filming, but failed to confirm a contract with a new investment company for five months since it stopped filming. The problem is that the possibility of legal disputes has increased because they have not been able to pay actors' guarantees and staff wages.

An official from the production company told YTN, "We are trying to organize the problem through a new investment company, and we will take responsibility for non-payment of actor guarantees and staff wages to the end."
