background
It has been found that North Korea has stopped using the "Juche Yeonho" in honor of Kim Il-sung in the internal media.

Since the night of the 12th, the Rodong Sinmun, the official newspaper of the North's ruling Workers' Party, has published statements and articles on the pages and websites, and has only written "2024" without a subject name.

North Korea has established and used an era name in which Kim Jong-il was born in 1912, marking the third anniversary of Kim Il-sung's death in 1997.

An official from the Ministry of Unification met with reporters today and evaluated it as one of the idolization of Kim Jong-un that has been shown since this year.

However, the Juche era continues to be used in the Korean Central News Agency, an external media.
