2024.10.17 오후 03:09
Amid heightened tensions over North Korea's dumping of garbage balloons and road explosions, a group of abductees' families has announced the distribution of leaflets next week.

The Association of Families of Post-war abductees said it had filed a rally report in front of the "National Korean War abductees Memorial" near Imjingak in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, by the end of this month to conduct a "sending of kidnapped family newsletters."

They explained that they will send a newsletter to North Korea next week containing information such as how the families of people kidnapped by the North are living according to weather conditions, and the same will be sent to political circles at the same time.

Gyeonggi-do Province and related agencies, including the police, plan to hold a joint meeting on North Korean leaflets at the northern office of Gyeonggi-do Province this afternoon (17th) and come up with measures.
