The National Intelligence Service said more than 1,500 North Korean special forces have already entered Russia for training.

Since the 8th, North Korean soldiers who have traveled to Vladivostok using a Russian naval transport ship have been dispersed to surrounding areas such as Khabarovsk and are training for adaptation.

North Korean soldiers are said to have been given Russian uniforms and weapons to disguise themselves as Russian troops.

The NIS predicted that they will be deployed to the Ukrainian front as soon as they complete their adaptation training.

In addition, the second transport operation will be carried out soon, and the final number of troops is expected to exceed 10,000.

Ukrainian President Zelensky also said that the final number of North Korean troops will reach 10,000 based on his country's intelligence.

The NIS also disclosed that North Korean State Councilor Kim Jong-un visited special warfare units twice last month and this month before sending troops.

In addition, North Korea has sent 13,000 containers of weapons to Russia more than 70 times since August last year.

The NIS explains that most of them were weapons for killing people, such as shells, missiles, and rockets.

When North Korea's participation in the war was confirmed, President Yoon Suk Yeol held an emergency inspection meeting on security issues and discussed countermeasures.

The presidential office said it will respond by all means with the international community, considering the current situation, which has been actually dispatched, as a serious security threat.
