Last year, the number of multi-homeowners among those with high and regular health insurance premiums increased by 23% from a year ago.

According to the data received by Seo Young-seok of the Democratic Party of Korea, a member of the National Assembly's Health and Welfare Committee from the National Health Insurance Corporation, 114 multiple homeowners with more than three houses among those with high insurance premiums and regular arrears last year, up 22.6% from 2022.

If you look at the number of houses you own, there are three.Four houses accounted for the largest number of cases with 48, and four multi-homeowners owned more than 100 houses.

Representative Seo stressed the need to establish an imposition and collection system to prevent moral harm to subscribers who are capable of paying insurance premiums.
