National Assembly Judiciary Committee issues an order to accompany Kim's mother and daughter...opposition from the ruling party

The National Assembly's Legislation and Judiciary Committee issued an order to accompany Kim Gun-hee and her mother Choi Eun-soon, who are suspected of being involved in Deutsche Motors stock price manipulation.

The Judiciary Committee voted and passed the issue of issuing an accompanying order, saying that Kim, who was adopted as a witness in the parliamentary audit of the Supreme Prosecutors' Office, did not respond to the National Assembly's request for attendance without a written reason.

People's Power lawmakers protested that the measure was ineffective except for the intention of disgracing the first lady's mother and daughter, but opposition lawmakers passed the bill with a majority vote, calling it the legitimate authority of the National Assembly.
