The Busan Metropolitan Government and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced that they will create a 'Busan Future Growth Venture Fund' worth 260 billion won.
The fund was established in June in cooperation with eight institutions, including the Busan Metropolitan Government, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and financial institutions, and attracted private funds to create 11 venture funds worth 258.9 billion won.
The Busan Metropolitan Government plans to recommend promising innovative companies such as strategic industries and future new industries to fund managers and jointly foster them through follow-up projects.
