The No. 1 delivery app Baedal Minjok, who appeared as a witness to the National Assembly's political affairs committee, was criticized for blaming Coupang Eats, the second-largest in the industry, for questions pointing out excessive fees.

Vice President Ham Yoon-sik of Woowa Brothers blamed Coupang Eats for the issue of a 9.8% increase in commission rates, free delivery, and demand for Choi Hye treatment.

When asked about the win-win plan between the delivery app and the store, he avoided an immediate answer by saying, "I hope there will be a fair trade order in the market and I would like to expand the preferential fee rate."

He also said that it is inevitable to charge the packaging order fee.

Regarding the investigation of Baemin and Coupang Eats, Chairman Han Ki-jung said, "The matter is under investigation," adding, "We will quickly determine whether it violates the law and take action."
