The Uijeongbu District Court's Goyang Branch today (25th) conducted a substantial examination of an arrest warrant for a man in his 30s who is suspected of attempting to kill a karaoke owner in his 70s.
Mr. A is accused of beating a woman owner in her 70s to kill her at a karaoke room in Ilsan-dong-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do at around 2:40 a.m. on the 23rd, and stealing the victim's credit card and mobile phone and running away.
The police, who found suspicious circumstances of sex crimes at the scene, additionally charged Mr. A with attempted rape.
The victim, who was taken to the hospital unconscious, is now back to consciousness, but is reportedly in a difficult state to be questioned by the police.
Mr. A told the police that he thought he had committed the crime, but he was drunk and did not remember and did not attempt sexual assault.
