Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees in the U.S. Major League Baseball has been named the best player of the year.

Judge was named in two categories: player of the year and American League's best player at the Players Choice Awards, which are handpicked by fellow players.

Judge, who batted .322 with 58 home runs and 144 RBIs in this year's regular season, was honored once again in two years since 2022, when he set a season record for most home runs.

Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers, who achieved 50 home runs and 50 steals for the first time in the Major League, was selected as the best player in the National League.
