Business owners who intentionally or habitually delayed wages were caught, such as traveling abroad or donating without paying company employees' wages.

The Ministry of Employment and Labor surveyed 98 companies that were filed at the "Anonymous Reporting Center for Non-payment of wages for incumbent workers" and found that more than 3,800 workers in 75 companies had 17.4 billion won in wages in arrears.

Company A, which is 5.9 billion won in arrears, was found to have traveled abroad and donated while delaying the wage of more than 500 employees.

During the special sale period of high-interest products, the B-axis cooperative did not allow employees to apply for allowances even though they worked overtime, and manufacturer C did not pay 25 employees and did not comply with the local labor office's correction order, saying it was difficult to manage.

The Labor Department said it would operate an additional anonymous reporting center for three weeks, and allow construction workers, especially those with serious overdue wages, to report through an electronic card work management app.
