Harris Focuses on Black Voting "Pennsylvania Is the Key to Win"

2024.10.28 오전 03:26
About a week before the U.S. presidential election, Vice President Kamala Harris focused on winning black voters, a traditional Democratic background, in Pennsylvania, a key battleground.

Speaking at a Black church service in Philadelphia, Harris said there are nine days left to decide the future of the United States and that everyone in Pennsylvania has a chance to lead change.

Speaking to reporters after the service, Harris said Pennsylvania will no doubt be the key to winning the presidential election, adding that the driving force is on us.

He also explained that Philadelphia is a very important part of our path to victory, so we're spending a lot of time here.

After visiting the church, Harris visited the barbershop to talk to young black men and later stopped by a black-run bookstore.

Black voters have traditionally supported Democrats, but Harris' support for Black people is lower than it was under President Joe Biden during the 2020 presidential election, and support for young Black men in particular is not what it used to be.
